The Village of Jackson Board of Public Works met March 31, 2026, and moved a package of recommendations for the Village Board as staff reported on ongoing utility and street projects.
The board recommended final payment of $5,329.19 to Stark Pavement Corporation for the Oaks of Jackson surface course and recommended awarding the Eagle Drive (north segment) street-repair contract to Stark Pavement Corporation for $54,527.30. It recommended the Budget & Finance Committee and Village Board approve an engineering-services proposal from KL Engineering for design and inspection of the 2026 street-light improvements (Ridgeway Drive, Chestnut Court and Hickory Lane) not to exceed $39,186. Staff said design work is $30,000 and on-site construction inspection is not to exceed $9,186; a rough construction estimate provided to support borrowing was about $373,000–$375,000.
