When Dr. Allen asked whether decreases are requested by schools or driven by other processes, Ms. Olmedo said increases and decreases are dictated by the school and staff follow up to confirm school intent before implementing a requested decrease.
Board members confirmed the Navigators program expansion (an increase of 500 students) and staff said the building has capacity to accommodate that increase. The board directed that the charter-capacity item be added to the evening's action agenda for a formal vote.
