Anchor Bay DECA chapter wins state titles; student elected Michigan DECA president, board approves international trip

Yono also announced that student Vivvon Jane was elected Michigan DECA state president after a lengthy application and election process that included written exams, interviews, campaigning and two speeches. Jane addressed the board and thanked advisers and supporters, saying the victory reflected broad support from school staff and peers.
The board approved a recommendation to send 11 students and two chaperones to the DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta April 23'29, 2026. The motion passed by roll-call vote.
