Planning commission approves two mobile‑food “GrubHub” parks amid parking, music and trademark concerns

The Series Planning Commission on an evening meeting approved two conditional use permits for mobile food‑vending parks — labeled in staff materials as “GrubHub” operations — while commissioners and residents raised concerns about trademark use, parking and the addition of live music.

Kelsey George, the city’s contract planner, told commissioners the Sanara proposal would allow 10 food‑truck stalls, covered seating, a game area, two container restrooms and 25 parking spaces on an 0.83‑acre portion of the site at 3125 East Service Road.
