The Andover City Council approved a $62,915 contract with American Fence Company on March 31 to install backstage fencing at the Capital Federal Amphitheater.
Rick Lance, Director of Public Works and Utilities, said staff recommended American Fence based on prior local work and experience. "...they have done very numerous jobs around their community and for us and we've been really happy with them and we'd recommend that those be selected for this project," Lance said during the meeting. A motion to accept the proposal passed by voice vote (6-0).
The contract covers installation of perimeter/backstage fencing; staff will proceed with procurement and scheduling so installation aligns with amphitheater operations and upcoming events.
