The council unanimously reapproved a vesting tentative map for 996 Lorraine, a proposal to create 13 condominium lots, after staff explained the earlier hearing required renoticing because mailed postcards were not sent to neighbors.
Senior planner Sean Ggo said the application had been considered previously by the planning commission and the city council, and that the rehearing corrects a procedural noticing error. Jeff Potts of SDG Architects briefly represented the applicant and answered council questions.
Council moved and approved the resolution to adopt the vesting tentative map by roll call: Daly — Yes; Weinberg — Yes; Lang — Yes; Meadows — Yes. The item was handled after public comments on the consent calendar and was processed as a non‑appeal public hearing.
Next steps
With the council adoption of the vesting tentative map, the applicant may proceed to subsequent design review and building permit stages, subject to conditions listed in the resolution and standard building and safety reviews.
