The most consequential votes included adoption of Resolution 2026-16 to contract with the Legal Defenders Office of Summit County to provide representation for indigent defendants; Resolution 2026-21 authorizing an intergovernmental agreement with Summit County for animal-control services; and Ordinance 2026-25, which repealed chapter 731 of the city administrative code regarding ambulance subsidation. Each of those items passed on a recorded roll call of seven ‘yes’ votes and no ‘no’ votes.
