Committee members explained the graphic guide was adapted from a neighboring jurisdiction and edited to remove locality-specific comments. The committee agreed the heading will read “Fencing Guidelines” and the document will be clearly marked “draft” pending any further committee refinements and formal reviews by the ASCC as required.
During discussion Teresa asked that no draft or unresolved items be presented to Town Council as final committee accomplishments; several members responded that the guide would be included as background information and explicitly labeled as draft. The committee then moved, seconded, and approved the illustrated draft by voice vote.
The committee will remove the draft if the relevant agenda item is not approved later in the meeting and will continue to refine the guide before wider distribution to residents.
