New resident urges Wildomar to act on mail theft concerns

Cowing described passing multiple mailboxes on a daily walk and said packages or checks could be stolen without residents knowing. "I would like to challenge the local government here to take ownership of that and figure out what you can do so we don't have to take those measures ourselves," he said.
Council members responded that they cannot take official action on items not on the agenda during the meeting but encouraged Mr. Cowing to follow up with staff to provide specifics.
No staff action was recorded during the meeting; the clerk noted the comment and the council suggested the resident contact city staff for next steps.
