Rebecca Eman, the city’s arts manager, said the city distributes a modest arts-grant budget of $227,000 each year and typically supports 40–50 grantees. Applications for the grant cycle open in spring and close July 1, Eman said.
Eman announced a new two-year special project grant that will replace the previous art-project grant and tie into a three-year creative plan designed to support programming for upcoming events including NBA All-Star Weekend, the FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games.
