Parent thanks Bowman Primary staff for home visits and accommodations during son’s recovery

She said classroom staff maintained communication, delivered learning materials and even brought class party treats so Owens felt included during recovery. "She took the time to come to our home to work with Owen during his recovery," Wong said of teacher Jackie Kun, calling that outreach an "act of kindness and commitment" that made a meaningful difference.
Wong also thanked the Bowman team members she named in her remarks for adapting gym activities, coordinating services and supporting the family during what she described as a challenging time. The board thanked Wong and extended best wishes for Owen’s continued recovery.
