Greenville ISD holds public hearing on 2024–25 district annual report and accountability data

District staff presented a high-level overview of the Greenville Independent School District’s 2024–25 district annual report — the TAPR — and the district’s Financial Standards Report during the board’s public hearing.
The presenter told the board the TAPR and table report combine assessment and financial data disaggregated by ethnicity and socioeconomic status, and that the documents (including definitions and methodology) will be posted on the district website and available at campus and central offices. “The table report is available on the TEA's website and will be available in district tomorrow at both the campus and district level,” the presenter said.
The report overview covered eight sections: STAAR performance by approaches/meets/masters (grades 3–8 and end‑of‑course tests); academic growth; bilingual/ESL performance; assessment participation rates; graduation and longitudinal cohort outcomes (including CCMR measures); student and staff demographics; accreditation status; and campus improvement plans. The presenter noted Greenville ISD’s current accreditation status and that the district’s Financial Standards Report earned a “superior” rating.
Board members asked follow-up questions about release timing and postsecondary tracking. Staff said the TAPR release was posted in mid‑February and clarified that the CCMR and college‑outcomes data reported are limited to students who attend Texas public institutions and that some alumni are classified as “not trackable” because they entered the workforce, attended private or out‑of‑state institutions, or otherwise fall outside the state tracking system.
Stephanie Hinsley, identified as the district’s executive director over assessment and accountability, was listed as the contact for additional questions and data requests.
The public hearing did not include a formal vote; the board proceeded to regular agenda items following the presentation. The annual report and the TEA table report will be posted for public access on the district website.
