The board received a brief report on recent planning commission activity and upcoming zoning changes, then addressed personnel changes on the Board of Zoning Appeals.
A member reported that the planning commission recently held five public hearings, chiefly procedural, and that forthcoming items will include code updates prompted by state law changes affecting solar installations, proposed adjustments to where manufactured homes are allowed, and potential revisions to waterfront fencing rules inside RPAs in response to citizen complaints.
Separately, the board noted Mr. Davis had resigned from the BZA. The board confirmed Mr. Bryant in a permanent seat on the BZA and said Mr. Farrell remains an alternate; the board is seeking an additional alternate, ideally from District 3 though the requirement is not strict.
After covering these items the board moved to adjourn and ended the meeting by voice vote.
