At the March 11 Delhi Hills Town Council meeting, Fiscal Officer Mr. Lubie opened and read bids for the township's 2026 street rehabilitation and repair construction projects and moved to forward them to Public Works Director Ron Ripager for review and selection of the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Mr. Lubie read two bids during the public session. He identified a bid from R A Miller Construction Company in the amount of $943,799.12. The meeting record also shows an entry for Adita Construction with the amount rendered in the transcript as "1,8230.92." Township staff said bid tabulation, bond verification and the public-works review will confirm the correct figures and determine responsivity before any contract award.
Council members asked staff to check bid bonds and documentation; no award or vendor selection was made at the meeting. The bids will be evaluated under the township's standards for the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and presented to the public-works director for a recommendation.
The council's motion instructing the fiscal officer to open bids and turn them over to public works passed by voice vote.
