Mansfield ISD board brief highlights student honors, athletic champions and staff awards

Mansfield ISD also recognized three members of its communications and marketing team—Katie Flowers (director of community relations and advertising), Emily Hler (director of digital media and marketing) and Sergio Amendar (coordinator of digital media and marketing)—for state awards from the Texas School Public Relations Association for campaign and media work.
Trustees noted that Aris Jones (Mackenzie Middle School) and Raymond Wear (Danny Jones Middle School) received a resolution from State Representative Chris Turner for guest-starring roles on the television show Abbott Elementary.
