Sandpoint council confirms city clerk, approves consent calendar and other routine votes

At the March 18 Sandpoint City Council meeting the council confirmed Mary Jane Bond as City Clerk and Risk Manager and administered the oath of office. Mayor Jeremy Grim introduced Bond and the council approved her appointment by roll call.
Earlier the council approved the consent calendar, voting to accept regular payables totaling $124,432.65. The council also moved to convene an executive session under Idaho code to discuss personnel and legal matters; the motion passed by roll call and the public portion of the meeting concluded.
Votes recorded by roll call during the meeting showed unanimous support among councilors present for the consent calendar, Mary Jane Bond’s appointment, the personnel policy amendment to allow a 4/10 schedule and Friday closure, the SRF application authorization for the wastewater project, and the motion to convene an executive session. Council President Deb Rule was noted absent.
The mayor administered the oath to Mary Jane Bond immediately after the vote and invited Bond to remain for the meeting.
