On facilities, the board reviewed a recommendation for latex surfacing for the track (recommended by the facilities director as a cost savings of about $115,000 compared with polyurethane) and heard that East Elementary will have a formal groundbreaking on April 14, 2026. The board approved a bleacher replacement bid for the intermediate school (packet amount presented as '91,83' in the transcript; packet indicates the bid came in under budget) and accepted bids for tennis court resurfacing (Co Surfaces LLC, $39,000) and track resurfacing (Current Surfaces Inc., $128,000).
