During public comment, Selma resident Nick Sahura told the Kingsburg City Council he is running for the Fresno County Board of Supervisors in District 4. Sahura identified himself as a lifelong regional resident, owner of Central Valley Engineering and Surveying, and a trustee with the Selma Unified School District. He said small cities like Kingsburg ‘‘matter deeply’’ and emphasized priorities including water reliability, farmland protection, support for local businesses and responsible growth that delivers jobs.
Sahura said he would work to ensure small cities have a strong voice at the county level and listed infrastructure, public safety and policies supporting both agriculture and economic development as campaign priorities. He closed by thanking council and wishing blessings on Kingsburg and the Central Valley.
