At its most recent meeting the North Babylon Union Free School District Board of Education approved a slate of routine and action items by voice vote.
Items passed included: policies presented for second reading and adoption; approval of personnel schedules A, B and C; the omnibus motion covering agenda letters A through X; appointment of an impartial hearing officer; authorization of the legal advertisement for the 2026 budget vote and election; and approval of the list of election inspectors for the May 19, 2026 budget vote.
The board also approved a LIAC board resolution concerning charter schools and awarded audit contracts: RS Abrams for external auditing services and Cullen and Danowski for internal auditing services for the 2026–27 school year.
Finally, the board approved creating the position of Coordinator for Pupil Personnel Services, effective July 1, 2026. All motions were presented in open session and recorded as "motion carries" on voice votes in the meeting transcript.
