Mr. Marcus gave the board a site update on the district building project, reporting that contractors had installed the majority of sewer lines and about 90% of drainage work. He said recent rain caused delays but that the next visible milestone will be concrete forms for building pads, anticipated before the end of the month.
Marcus described the site layout and what the meeting photos showed: catch basins in parking areas, drainage pipe, a sewer manhole where pressure testing occurred, and the relative locations of the arena, career academy and cafeteria. He told the board that much of the current work consists of buried utilities and that visible progress will increase once concrete is poured for pads.
Board members asked about attachments and meeting internet links, and the presenter suggested members could view pictures on their phones or come forward to view them in the room. No formal action was taken; the board thanked the presenter and moved on to financial reports.
