Officials said the village will need to prepare a concrete pad before installation; shipment typically takes 8–12 weeks after the order, and staff estimated realistic public access in May or June 2026.
Board discussion included grant funding and installation logistics. Trustees encouraged residents to view vendor examples online to see the proposed equipment. Parks & Recreation will coordinate site preparation and vendor installation and will report back on timing and any remaining budgetary items.
