The Brentwood Planning Commission on May 4 approved routine items including corrected minutes, the consent agenda and the monthly April security report. All routine motions passed unanimously by the recorded margin of 7-0.
At the start of the meeting the commission approved corrected minutes after a motion and second; the chair recorded the minutes as passing 7 to nothing. The chair then read the consent agenda as a block and the commission voted to accept it as presented.
During the monthly security report staff reported no changes for April and stated the balance remains $19,246,332.22. "For the month of April, we had no changes in the security, so...the amount remains the same at $19,246,332.22," the staff member said. The commission approved the April security report by a 7-0 vote.
Commissioners also shared brief reports: a tree board meeting that identified a new arboretum on city property is under assessment, and the Brentwood Historic Commission recently rededicated a cemetery in Eastman's Preserve and is planning July 4 events that will include a fife and drums ensemble and a color guard from the Sons of the American Revolution. The chair closed the regular agenda and reminded attendees that election day is tomorrow, listing local polling locations.
