Sue Mowrey, director of the Alternative Sentencing/Youth Bureau, told the committee the pre‑trial funding could be used to buy the SUV and that the office plans to return one of its fleet cars to Car Pool, addressing a Treasurer question about whether the county fleet would grow. The Treasurer, Al Nolette, asked a follow‑up about fleet size and suggested the county coordinate with the Superintendent of Public Works on vehicle retirements.
