The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority on May 6 approved the minutes from its April 21 meeting, acknowledged receipt of the cash summary and accounts receivable as of May 1, 2026, and approved the MBA open invoice register for $2,617.40.
A committee member moved to approve the April 21 minutes; the Chair seconded and the motion passed by voice vote. The same sequence — motion by a board member and second by the Chair — was used to acknowledge the cash summary and to approve the open invoice register. Each motion was adopted by voice vote ('Aye').
Members then heard updates on the Daggett County Health, Business and Community Center project: tile for flooring remains outstanding, curb and gutter work is substantially complete, cabinets are being installed and final site improvements are being finalized. Staff reported ongoing outreach to partner organizations, including the Northeastern Council, and reminded members of a construction meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m. the next day.
Other business included correspondence from Sunrise Engineering and the Uintah Basin Association of Governments. The Chair closed the meeting by acclamation at 9:57 a.m.
Recorded outcomes from the meeting included formal approval of minutes and two finance items; no closed session was requested and Item 2 was removed from the MBA agenda.
