Resident says repeated late-night events at local club disrupt neighbors
Summary
A Tiburon resident told the council that late-night music events at a nearby club produce sustained high decibel levels (she reported readings near 90 dB) and urged the town to examine permitting and enforcement for events that impact residential areas.

Michelle Kelly Fogelman told the council she lives at 36 Harbor Oak Drive near the waterfront club (TBC) and that loud music at events — she said she measured sound levels with a decibel meter as high as about 90 dB — has repeatedly disrupted residents' evenings. She said the club has approvals to play music until 10:30 p.m. but that the noise has made it hard to stay at home on event nights.
Fogelman asked the council to “look at that” because she believes it is the council’s responsibility to address quality-of-life impacts on residents. Council acknowledged the comment; no enforcement action or formal agenda item was taken at the meeting.
