Murphy Road recycling center tour set for the 14th; committee proposes Simsbury-specific recycling guide

"I have been thinking about creating some sort of pamphlet... a Simsbury specific guide for what's in, what's out," he said.
Members offered to invite neighboring-town contacts (Avon, Bloomfield) and noted that some towns may send single-stream to the same facility; Vice chair offered to share contact information for Avon so Joe can invite their committee. Joe also reiterated that swap shops at the transfer station operate Saturdays 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The committee encouraged using the tour to gather precise transfer-station requirements and product-stewardship contacts, then turn that information into a short, accessible reference for residents and include it in the committee newsletter.
