County renews $3,000 park allotments, withholds Braddock payment until lease is recorded

Commissioners expressed concern that Braddock's park appears to lack a recorded deed or lease transfer after earlier verbal arrangements, and one commissioner moved to withhold Braddock's payment until the town provides a notarized lease or conveyance. That motion carried; the rest of the allocations were approved by voice vote.
Officials noted that some parks have been successful at securing grants or donations for larger projects but that county funds are intended to keep facilities open and covered for routine needs.
