Petersburg Medical Center board hears updates on new campus, MRI plans and staffing as rural funding decision nears

Phil Obsteter, the hospital administrator, told the board the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation has indicated the hospital’s stormwater pollution-prevention plan (SWPPP) submittals are now satisfied and the hospital is awaiting formal documentation. “It looks like we've finally satisfied everything on their list,” Obsteter said, adding that work-building site work is complete and an application to bring on a design-build contractor for full campus design has been submitted.
