County Administrator Liana told the Admin & Finance Committee May 8 that a countywide assessment and a Tetra Tech presentation on leachate treatment will be brought to the full board (committee of the whole) because the projects could affect the entire county and might require debt financing.
Liana said leachate treatment is the biggest item and may be eligible for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund on a reimbursement basis; she asked committee members to attend the committee of the whole presentations, which will include a Q&A. Liana framed the presentations as part of an effort to improve transparency and prepare the full board for decisions that could carry financial implications.
Committee members were advised to expect additional information and an opportunity to ask questions at the committee of the whole.
