Batykefer said a new barber started this week and visitation times have been expanded to allow increased contact between inmates and visitors. He also reported that staff are discussing implementation of CoreEMR — an electronic medical-records platform — and key-card access for facility doors as potential operational improvements.
Treasurer/Secretary Jeannie Ritchey moved to approve the warden’s report; Commissioner Ken Bryan seconded. The board recorded “Ayes all,” and the report was accepted by unanimous consent. The minutes do not show individual roll-call votes.
The warden’s population figure is a snapshot for the day of the meeting; the report did not include bed capacity, staffing-to-inmate ratios, or a multiweek trend.
