Sanford Council approves five-year lease of Depot to Tourism Development Authority for welcome center

Selection of those items will be made by the lessee, TDA, Inc., subject to prior approval by an appointed committee consisting of two members appointed by the TDA board, two members appointed by the City Council, the TDA executive director Wendy Bryan and the City Public Works Director Fedd Walker. Mayor Pro Tem Byron Buckels moved to approve the resolution and lease; the motion was seconded by Council Member Mark Akinosho and carried unanimously.
