Theresa Pesce and others asked about a Youth Community Needs Assessment survey. Dr. John Toleno, co‑coordinator of the Community Partnership for Gun Safety, said there are no plans for an additional survey. "The original survey was conducted last school year in June with approximately one thousand five hundred (1,500) students participating," Dr. Toleno said, and he added that he had recently spoken before the Pennsylvania House Judicial Committee about PCCD funding related to the work. Toleno told the commissioners that Monroe County was the only rural county to receive the gun‑safety grant.
