Agency members asked about tree preservation and how many mature trees would be retained; Ura said a tree survey and mitigation plan will be completed during final design and that mitigation requirements will be followed. Miss Perkins moved to recommend approval based on four findings of fact provided in the staff report; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
The recommendation moves the rezoning forward in the county review process and the applicant will complete design and mitigation steps prior to permit approval.
