The Tecumseh City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2025-7, a 5311 Program Agreement (PI 2536) for federal-aid funds, authorized a four-year contract with SEGRA for communications services at $984 per year, and passed the consent agenda at a brief June 16 meeting that opened at 5:09 p.m. and adjourned at 5:11 p.m.
Council Member Lance Beethe moved to approve Resolution 2025-7, concerning the 5311 Program Agreement (PI 2536); Council Member Tyler Speckmann seconded the motion. Voting aye were Beethe, Brian Britt, Alicia Brommer, Travis Goracke, Tyler Speckmann and Lorie Topp; there were no nay votes and no abstentions. The resolution was carried as presented.
Council Member Lorie Topp moved to approve a four-year contract with SEGRA for phone, internet and data services at $984 per year; Council Member Travis Goracke seconded. The full council voted aye (Beethe, Britt, Brommer, Goracke, Speckmann and Topp) and the motion carried.
During the consent agenda, Council Member Lorie Topp moved and Council Member Alicia Brommer seconded approval of: (1) the minutes of the June 2, 2025 meeting, (2) payment of city bills for City Funds, and (3) a fireworks show scheduled for July 4, 2025 at the Fairgrounds with a rain date of July 5, 2025. The consent agenda passed unanimously. The meeting was signed and certified by City Clerk Janelle Moran and Mayor Jesse Grof.
No additional discussion, public testimony or amendments to the motions are recorded in the minutes. The council did not schedule further action on these items during the session.
