Village administrator Drew Irvin explained material and finish options included a brushed‑aluminum, sandblasted lettering technique and that the sign would be one piece (pole plus face) with a single‑color background option of dark blue or black. Board members discussed whether the committee logo's multicolor treatment should be reversed to brushed silver so the sign reads as part of the sign rather than a decal; members also confirmed that public works would install the preassembled pedestal and that the sign would be anchored on a pole or pedestal.
After brief discussion a motion to approve the sign with a dark blue background and brushed aluminum lettering, with the "Celebrate 250" logo reversed into brushed aluminum, was moved and seconded; a roll-call vote recorded unanimous approval. The board thanked the committee and asked staff to confirm installation timing and any donor conditions.
