Meier noted recent improvements to the facility. Commissioners said there remains a waiting list but emphasized prospective residents must be prepared for community living.
The board approved the recommendation. Post‑increase monthly rates listed in the packet are: 1‑bedroom with obstructed view $1,250; 1‑bedroom $1,545; 1‑bedroom with den $1,690; and 1‑bedroom deluxe with den $1,740.
The action was presented as part of regular agenda business and recorded in the minutes; staff will implement the new rents beginning July 1 and manage the waiting list through Sunrise Terrace administration.
