The board discussed the policy and instructed staff to prepare an ordinance that mirrors the State framework "without any additional conditions at this time," to be considered at a future meeting.
No formal vote to adopt an ordinance occurred at the May 6 meeting; the board’s directive was to return a draft ordinance for future consideration. The board recorded no public comments on the item during the meeting.
