Vince praised district staff and said he values the professionals he has worked with. “Some of my best years. Those folks are unbelievable professionals. And I look forward to being their boss, which is just gonna be a little weirder,” he said.
He also offered a brief administrative note about the transition: “Frank’s door is always open until June 1,” Vince told attendees, indicating an ongoing point of contact during the coming weeks.
A meeting moderator cautioned that the gathering was not an official board meeting and said the group would proceed with public comment on agenda items. A board member confirmed the agenda item to be addressed during public comment.
