Parks & Rec announces community events, construction update and Starbucks grand opening

Parks & Recreation staff provided several community updates at the May 6 Adelanto Planning Commission meeting.
Staff member Naeika announced a National Day of Prayer at City Hall tomorrow at noon, invited residents to attend, and noted that construction on Highway 395 near Seneca Road (Ashter/Seneca area) is scheduled to finish on May 22. She also said the city will host a citywide yard sale May 15–17 with no permit required.
In new business staff added that a new Starbucks at 15341 US Highway 395 will hold a grand opening at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18; the staff announcement invited the public to the event.
