Clark County commissioners approve contracts, transfers and set Liberty Place hearings; vote list included

On the Clark County Courthouse renovation project the board authorized release of retainage to Elford, Inc. in the amount of $635,630.86 plus interest (Resolution 2026-0174) but county staff explained final payment remains contingent on resolving a dispute with the panic-button vendor over indemnity language.
Financial actions included approving inter-fund transfers — most prominently a $250,000 transfer from the General Fund to the Dog & Kennel fund — and approval of then-and-now warrants for invoices including CivicPlus (Resolutions 2026-0178 and 2026-0179). The board approved a slate of travel and expense allowances (Resolution 2026-0180) and established a Custodial Trust Fund (Fund 8010) for tracking Social Security payments received by Job & Family Services (Resolution 2026-0177).
