Carroll County commissioners approve $249,315.57 transfer tied to broadband grant and Moody Avenue renovations

Commissioner Donald E. Leggett II moved to approve the listed appropriations, including $249,315.57 recorded under Fund 20727 for a Transfer Out – ARC Power/Broadband Grant (20727-11001-59200) and a matching $249,315.57 for Renovations – Moody Avenue Annex (10000-11026-53395). The board also approved an appropriation of $913.54 for Administration – Commissioners – Brownfield Remediation Grant (20945-11001-56001). Vice President Robert E. Wirkner seconded the motions; the votes were recorded YEA: Wirkner and Leggett II; NEY: None; ABSENT: President Christopher R. Modranski; the motions carried unanimously.
The board then approved a transfer of $249,315.57 from Fund 20727 (20727-11001-59200) to Fund 10000 (10000-00100-49800) to reconcile the broadband and Moody Avenue accounting entries. The Board also authorized payment of submitted bills and directed the County Auditor to issue warrants for payment.
Under Revised Code 5705.41, the Board approved payment for purchases made without prior certification: for the county there were none; the Department of Job and Family Services listed Amazon Capital Services, $917.07. All motions were moved by Commissioner Leggett and seconded by Vice President Wirkner and carried unanimously (Modranski absent).
