Five bids were read: Saorsa Construction ($173,260.00), LMS Construction ($214,706.50), Ohio-West Virginia Excavating ($247,170.00), Stouffer Construction ($284,650.00) and one other bidder. The board voted to turn all bids over to Natalie Hamilton of Belomar for review and recommendation.
Why it matters: the low bid will be evaluated for responsiveness, compliance with CDBG procurement requirements and federal environmental clearances before any award. The bids were submitted and opened in the Commissioners’ Office and the board recorded attendees present during the opening.
