Hancock County commissioners approve routine motions, three resolutions and a temporary JFS wage increase; enter executive session on real estate

The Board approved a request from the Department of Job and Family Services for a temporary wage increase for employees who are on call; the transcript records the Board's approval but does not attribute the mover or seconder. Steve Wilson reported the county has received FEMA grant approval and announced a pre-bid conference for the Norfolk Southern project scheduled for May 19 at 10:00 a.m.
At 10:17 a.m. Commissioner Jeff Hunker moved and Commissioner Timothy Bechtol seconded to enter executive session to discuss real estate acquisition and transfer; roll call vote was yes for Hunker, Bechtol and Bateson. The Board exited executive session at 10:50 a.m. on a motion by Commissioner Hunker, seconded by Commissioner Bechtol; no action was reported.
