Mayor Kim Smith said she would like to continue as chair "if the board desires," and a motion to nominate and elect her carried by voice vote after receiving a second. Steven Knott was nominated and confirmed as vice chair in a subsequent nomination and voice vote.
The board also approved minutes from the previous meeting after a motion by Larry Juracek and a second by Sabrina Steiger; the clerk announced the motion carried unanimously. Later the board reviewed and approved nine pay estimates submitted in the packet for multiple contractors; the motion to approve the pay estimates was announced and carried by voice vote.
