The commissioners announced a public open house for an ODOT Transportation Alternatives‑funded project to design an ADA‑compliant shared‑use path linking Logan Aqueduct Park to Logan Middle School; the open house is set for Wednesday, May 20 at the Hocking County Health Department and the project is planned for construction in 2027.
Other actions: the board approved temporary and permanent power work to support a revitalization project at the Tanski Building, appointed county representation and an alternate to the Buckeye Hills Regional Council, and approved a motion to authorize tax administrator Josh Givens to attend an Avalara CRUSH conference in September (estimated cost cited at about $2,600).
