At its May meeting the Omaha Planning Board approved a number of consent, administrative and TIF items in largely unanimous votes.
Key approvals at a glance: - Consent and layover: Board read and approved a set of consent items including preliminary and final plats, rezonings and conditional use permits in multiple neighborhoods. The consent approvals were recorded as 6–0. (Items 5, 9, 10, 12–23 were read; item 11 was placed on layover.) - Administrative plats: Final plat approval for Line 192 (Key Investments LLC) including MCC overlay and AG→R6 rezoning, approved 6–0 subject to three staff conditions. - Final plat: Cattail Creek Commercial Replat (Omaha RJ 2 Rents LLC) — final plat approved 6–0 pending an acceptable subdivision agreement and major amendment to the mixed‑use development agreement before city council. - Final plat: Coffee Tree (217 Golf LLC) — final plat approved 6–0 subject to two conditions related to subdivision agreements and associated permits. - 7630 Pacific Apartments TIF (Parkway Development LLC) — 5‑story, 34‑unit project; staff recommended approval and the board voted 6–0 to recommend the TIF request ($1,513,578 requested).
Votes largely followed staff recommendations; the board approved meeting minutes with one abstention and then adjourned.
