On event planning, the committee finalized elements of Bike Week, including open houses and a kids' ride. Members discussed safe routes for children, the need for police assistance at busy intersections, and supervision policies; the group settled on an age guidance of about 12 and secured cookies and potential Kona Ice concessions to encourage turnout.
