Wabasha County Human Services Board approves consent agenda, software license and regional contracts

The board also approved renewal of the Region 10 interagency contracting services memorandum of understanding (hosted by Olmsted County) through Dec. 31, 2025, with anticipated Wabasha County contributions of $10,593 for 2024 and $11,192 for 2025.
Other approved items included acceptance of an $858 donation from the Wabasha Kellogg Area Community Foundation designated for the Public Health special needs fund, and a small equipment purchase of headsets for Public Health totaling $556.04.
All recorded motions were adopted unanimously by the five board members listed as present: Commissioners Key, Powers, Springer, Walkes and Wobbe. The meeting minutes list each resolution by number: Res.2023‑HS027 (headset purchase), Res.2023‑HS028 (donation), Res.2023‑HS029 (CaseWorks Resident Portal), Res.2023‑HS030 (Region 10 contracting services), Res.2023‑HS031 (liaison case management agreement), and Res.2023‑HS032 (MFIP Biennial Agreement).
The minutes show staff certified that listed case actions, personnel actions and claims were in compliance with applicable state and federal laws and county policies. The board recessed at 8:36 a.m. and is scheduled to reconvene Oct. 17, 2023.
