Board ratifies classified collective bargaining agreement with OSEA for 2026'2029

OSEA co-presidents (introduced during the presentation) reported a 51% voter turnout among members and a ratification vote with 100% in favor. Board members who participated in the bargaining team expressed support for the collaborative process.
A board member moved to approve the agreement; the motion was seconded and adopted by voice vote. The board noted appreciation for classified staff and the time invested in bargaining.
The ratification means the negotiated contract language and multi-year terms will be implemented starting July 1, 2026.
