Lucas County approves $478,291 pump-station contract and renews residential waste agreement

The Lucas County Board of County Commissioners approved several sanitary and solid-waste items on May 5, including a $478,291 award for a pump station replacement and an amended multi-year waste-collection agreement.
Sanitary engineer and solid-waste presenter Nate Incrott told the board he was seeking approval of a private agreement for a sanitary sewer and water supply line in the village "On The Green Plat 3" in Montclover Township and then presented a contract award to Vernon Nagel for the Forest Lakes pump station replacement project in the amount of $478,291.
Incrott also described a second amended three-year agreement for residential waste and recycling collection services with Clum Brothers as the successor agreement covering Waterville Township; he said the extension will expire on June 30, 2029, and that a price increase is included though he did not have the exact figure at the meeting. Incrott said the township approved and signed the extension.
Finally, Incrott noted a clerical amendment to a previously approved contract for the iWORKS system, changing the accounting fund number from 5032 to 5030 while leaving all other terms unchanged.
A motion to approve items 7–10 passed by recorded affirmative responses of the commissioners present.
